WEBSITE QUESTIONS FOR STAFF: Terri Olson

1.  Position and what you do at MBC?  My official title is Office Administrator;  that’s easy.  Describing what I do is a bit more difficult, but basically I oversee the staff, the general daily office operations, finances, communications, and activities of the church and its ministries to the Body and the community.

2.  How long have you been involved with MBC?  I have a long history with Manzanita Baptist Church, beginning in 1979.  I joined the staff in July of 2007.

3.  Place of birth?  I was born in San Bernardino, California, but moved to Kingman at the beginning of fourth grade so I consider Kingman my “hometown.”

4.  Some favorite dead guys or gals?  My dad, John Wayne, Elvis, Will Rogers

5.   Some favorites still among the living? My husband, my girls, Chuck Swindoll, Beth Moore, Rebecca Manley Pippert 

6.  Family information?  Married to my wonderful husband, Kerry.  Between us we have eight daughters and twelve grandchildren (five boys, seven girls) with a new grandson due in October and another grandbaby due in April.

7.  Your thoughts on living in Kingman?  I always dreamed of moving away, but I am still here almost forty years later.  It has a unique charm that I appreciate more now than when I was younger.

8.  What do you enjoy most for refreshment?  Iced tea and anything chocolate! Reading a good book, riding my horses, spending time with my husband, lunches with my daughters, quilting and just about any activity that includes my grandkids

9.  Ministry involvement other than MBC:   At this time, my job in the office of MBC is my ministry.  Hopefully, I offer prayer, encouragement and support for our active ministries, as well as to our church family.
